The Final Sunrise marks the last chapter for the citys beloved 7-piece instrumental psychedelic jazz-rock collective.

Founded by guitarist Ed Durocher, Apollo Suns have carved out a signature sound, blending jazz, rock, funk, and psychedelic textures into explosive, dance-driven instrumental music. Their catalog includes three acclaimed EPs and the full-length album Departures, recorded with Juno Awardwinning producer Ben Kaplan. Along the way, the band picked up multiple Western Canadian Music Awards for Instrumental Artist of the Year and earned a reputation for delivering some of the most high-octane live shows in the country.

From festival stages at Winnipeg Jazz Fest and Salmon Arm Roots ve shared the stage with The Comet Is Coming, Makaya McCraven, Anomalie, and Five Alarm Funk, while building a fiercely loyal fan base drawn to the bands creativity and spirit.
