Formed in Vancouver, British Columbia, Default emerged as one of Canada's most successfulrock bands of the 2000s. The band's debut album, The Fallout, achieved multi-platinum statusin Canada and spawned the hit singles “Wasting My Time,” “Deny,” and “Slow Me Down.”Throughout their career, Default has earned multiple JUNO Award nominations and won theJUNO Award for Best New Group in 2002, charted numerous singles across North America,toured internationally, and built a devoted fan base through their powerful live performances and enduring catalogue of rock anthems. Fronted by Dallas Smith, one of Canada's successfulrecording artists, Default remains a beloved fixture in Canadian rock, with music that continues to resonate with fans more than two decades after its debut.
