September Discoveries Live in the Green Sanderson Hall at Hugh's Room, 296 Broadview Avenue Show at 8pm, Doors at 7pm$15+ in advance, $22+at the door Dynesti (she/her) Toronto songwriter, singer, rapper, dancer, and powerhouse performer Dynesti can transform any space with a potent mix of raw honesty, life lessons, humour, and collective participation. Blending neo-soul and conscious hip-hop with splashes of reggae, dancehall and afrofusion, her infectious vibe motivates people to unleash their authentic selves through bold expression. She rose from the shelter system and programs like SKETCH Working Arts, RISE Edutainment, The Remix Project, and Honey Jam to share stages with stars like Sean Paul and Talib Kweli. Her gutsy 2026 album “The Dyna: Breakfast” speaks on womanhood, community, mental wellness, love and relationships as a Black girl from a broken home.
