Join us at the legendary King Eddy on August 27 for "An Evening of Song" featuring three incredible artists in one night of intimate, heartfelt music. Michaela Slinger, Jed and the Valentine, and Kate Stevens take the stage for a show that celebrates the art of songwriting and live performance.

About Michaela Slinger: Michaela Slinger is a “legendary songbird-in-the-making” (Dan Mangan) based in Vancouver. Her songwriting and stop-you-dead vocals illuminate the universality of our lives by diving deep into quiet moments of love, loss, longing, and uncertainty.

Her recent EP THERE’S STiLL TiME YET marked a turning point toward her natural home as a singer-songwriter. Recorded at Protection Island Studios with David Vertesi (Haley Blais, Hey Ocean!) and Jonathan Anderson (Ocie Elliott, Field Guide), both projects capture an artist learning to sit with the unanswered questions that accompany the ending of a decade.…
