Springboard Performance Presents Music as Puppetry Featuring Jocelyn Mah and James Watson.

Music as Puppetry is a whimsical, all-ages interdisciplinary performance by Jocelyn Mah and James Watson blending live violin, contemporary dance, and mask theatre. Born from a collaborative process where choreography and music were developed side by side, the story follows "Violon", a marionette doll, as she resists the control of the Maestro and discovers freedom through play.

After the performance, audience members of all ages will be invited to join in a short movement exploration, as well as an up-close look at the work’s exquisite costumes, mask and puppet. Questions and photos welcome!
