Sabr: A Deep Listening Experience

Join us for an experience of deep listening, sound, and stillness.

Sabr is a high-fidelity deep listening experience created by Asad Khan, highlighting the intersection of sound, light, space, and connection. This meditative live set featuring musical duo Mastané is rooted in Indian classical and Punjabi folk music, as they explore the contemplative and improvisational sides of their artistry through live vocals, alaaps, and violin layered over evolving ambient textures.

Ambient synth and soundscape, built out slowly over two years. Sabr changes shape depending on the room and who's in it. This is the Mastané version, with Raaginder alongside him. Punjabi folk, ghazals, Indian classical, music from both sides of the border, and originals.

Sabr means patience, and the whole night is built on it.
