Townes, in Gold (formerly Townes) is the stage name of Montreal based indie rock musician Matthew Radich. Despite being a solo act, Radich engages his audiences with the energy of a four-piece band, incorporating set pieces and a manually programmed light show into his live performances. After feeling a disconnect between his performances and recorded music, Radich has relaunched his project to deliver a more danceable and polished take on his brand of self-deprecating indie rock. Along with his headline shows, Radich has supported acts such as Holy F, Zola Jesus, and Rich Aucoin.
